DO I WANT TOO MUCH OUT OF LIFE?

by admin on August 11, 2010

I dream of being a bother to two beautifully girls (one 2 yrs older then the other,a redhead and a brunette) and i want to live in PEI (prince edward island, canada) I want a perfect Classical house with a lovely garden which would Always be blooming and cherry trees blossoming!
I wish that I cold be a perfect wife and perfect mother, to bake everyday and have everything just…PERFECT!
I have my whole life planned out, 5 full scrapbooks of dream houses and weddings and gardens and dinners and color Shem’s and table toppings for different occasions and etiquette lessons and perfect classical songs and the best things to enroll your children in and all that!
Not, i’m 16 and i’ve been dreaming about this kind of life since i was 9. I practice baking cupcakes and chocolate-chip cookies just so that I would get it right, i even prepare the family christmas dinner on my own just for the practice. and decorate the apartment matching pastel colors and all that.
but that’s my dream!
I even know who i’m going to marry. what do you think?

most likely you will achieve close to what you dream of. you have a goal, and you are working towards it. make sure you are the type of person who would be a good wife to a man that would provide for you; or make sure you are willing to get the education and career you need to accomplish your dreams.

sometimes you have to compromise, but dreams are not bad, they can come true, but sometimes you have to work hard for them.

but not everything is going to be "perfect"; so expect some compromises with the people in your life, children and husband have their own personalities that may not fall in line with your own priorities; make sure you let them be themselves. martha stewart shows perfect parties and perfect decor, but her life is not perfect regarding her family and so forth. but she did achieve a certain level of "perfect".

add being a good wife and mom to your list.

dreams are great, just remember that all dreams do not come true.

Well if that is your dream just make sure you have the income to afford it before you start it because you might have to get a job to pay the bills.

i think your expectations are going to make you sad because life never goes as we plan……what you ought to do is focus on your good personal attributes and be ready to adjust to many lifes circumstances

I think that you are 16 and are too young to be worried about every little detail like that. Every young girl has their dream wedding planned out and ideas in their head, but there are so many different paths that your life can take. What about college? Do you want a career? How can you possibly know who you are going to marry? I thought I knew when I was your age, but our lives ended up going in two different directions. I ended up marrying a wonderful man in a beautiful ceremony that was nothing like I had pictured it. It’s great to daydream about those things, but to make it your main focus in life will only make it more difficult for you when it doesn’t turn out exactly as you had imagined or planned. Focus on being 16 and enjoy it! It will be over before you know it!

Nothing in life is for sure. Set a plan but as you already know no one is perfect. Good luck.

With the exception of knowing who you will marry, I say keep going
