What should I make for my girlfriend for her birthday?

by admin on August 20, 2010

Alright, so I have a girlfriend who is turning 17 years old. We’ve been going out for about a year and 4 months now. Her birthday’s coming up, it’s on august 16th. I’ve already got her birthday presents, but usually whenever there’s a special occasion like this, we make something for each other. For example, for our one year anniversary, my girlfriend made me a scrapbook filled with pictures of all our favorite memories. I was thinking I’d like to do something like that for her, except it has to be different… I can’t seem to think of anything. If you guys could come up with some ideas and help me out, I’d be really grateful. You’d be doing me a HUGE favor, so please, if you would, give me some ideas. Thanks so much,

~ Jasper Bishop. :D

Aww so sweet lol. umm well you could get a favorite picture of you to and frame it..sweet n simple.
or you could recreate a memory and take her to her favorite place to be.
make a picnic with all her fav foods and take her to a near by forest hold her hand till the sun goes down. tell her you love her kiss her till your out of breath. take her in your arms and say you wont let go….woah sorrry i was in my own little vortex of a sweet time! lol i hope this helps.

if you play an instrument or sing:make her a song
if you like to write:make her a poem
if you like to draw: draw her a portrait of herself or a picture of a flower

You should make a CD filled with both your favorite songs, and some really nice love songs!! Hope this helps and good luck!!

P.S. You should also right a song for her and sing to her on her birthday, let her keep the lyric sheet as a bonus gift!! :D

Write her a poem. Or a song, if you’re a musician. I think that would be sweet.

Okay I’ve got two ideas:

One of them is sort of like a scrapbook of pictures, but a lil different. Pick a song (particularly a love song) that you both really like, and make a picture book that corresponds to the lyrics of the song. Make each page have one lyric (a verse or just a sentence, whatever works for you) and one picture of you or her or both of you that you either really like or that works well with the lyric. You can do a book with the whole song or just part of it. Decorate it a lil bit, and you got yourself a cute love songbook!

The other option is to make a box. If you’ve really been dating a year, then you should know quite well what her favorite things are. So find them and put them in a box about the size of a shoebox (it can even BE as shoebox). Some examples are: find something that is the same color as her favorite color and put it in the box, get a keychain with her favorite animal on it and put it in the box, put a mix cd of her favorite songs in the box, etc. Decorate the box so it’s not obvious it’s a shoebox, if that’s what you choose. make it as personal as you can (that goes for the scrapbook as well), and once you put all the things she loves in it, finish up by putting in a posession of yours that is really important to you in the box, so that when she sees it she knows that you trust her with what’s dear to your heart. She’ll be flattered.

These are all I got, hope they work!
