What are good themes for a goodbye scrapbook?

by admin on August 26, 2010

i recently found out that my friend is moving to another state and my friends and i wanted to make her a scrapbook. we bought everything and we have 70 pages to fill up. we have about 50 ideas or so, but thats not going to fill up all the pages, even if a few ideas will take up more than 1 page. so do you guys have any suggestions or ideas on what another theme could be?

firstly divide the pages up so everyone has the same amount to do, get it each person do thing from there point of view, not everyone will remember the same thing was the same event. it would mater how u do it just tell he a story of how she means to each one of you.
u can tie each page together with colours of the papers. in a nut shell. you create a book that has chapters. If u need any more information on how to do it come to groups and look for debbierawle. i can post more info if u need it

You could go with a timeline theme. Start from from when you all first met the friend, and cover important and not-so-important events from that time.

If you do something like that, it might not take up a lot of pages, but you could go and elabourate into the future and what you think all of your lives will be like later on in life.

You could make pages that depict her in her new town, complete with local hot spots and shopping areas.

You could also make the pages full of the town that she is leaving behind, complete with pages of her favorites and how you all used to hang out and enjoy life.

Some word themes could be: the future, leaving the past and heading to the future, never to be forgotten, keep in touch, sealed with a kiss, communications: how you all will keep in touch via the internet, mail, etc., or highlighting some of her best and worst moments with you guys.

You could do a "Happy Trails" theme…. Have a horse walking a long road…with some luggauge perhaps.. Use the line from the song..’Happy trails to you, until we meet again’.
